Geneseo Players to stage "Technicolor Dreamcoat"
The Geneseo Community Players are bringing the popular Biblical story of Joseph and his colorful coat to the Alice Austin Theater July 23-25 with their rendition of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
The play is the second British musical theatre show written by the team of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.
The play tells the story of Joseph, the eleventh, and favorite, of 12 sons, who is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers. Joseph’s adventures in Egypt test his spirit and strength.
Leading cast includes Narrator: Chandra Downs; Joseph: Timothy McGowan; Jacob: Tom Bushnell; Potiphar: Chris Leary; Mrs. Potiphar: Jen Everdyke; Pharaoh: Evan Hill. Additional cast members are Anthony Marsocci, Jesse Llop, Kaleb King, William Bonfiglio, James Bock, Garrison Kingston, Connor Creagan, Tim Banker, Robert Bonfiglio, Ryan Nation, Nathan Pollock, Oliver Fox, Bram Adams, Jonathan Stone, Molly Bennett, Alison Brasser, Lauren Carrington, Liz DaBramo, Kristen Hadley, Amanda Hellwig, Laura Hellwig, Kathryn LaBine, Elyse Lagana, Heather Leary, Tiffany Longacre, Amanda Lynch, Jessica Mothersell, Emily Mullin, Kaytie Nesbitt, Sarah Peace, Chelsea Robb, Ashley Wool and Liz VanSickle.
