Police reports

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office provided the following report of overnight arrests:

A traffic stop in the Town of Livonia led to the arrest of a Rochester woman for possession of a controlled substance.  At about 2 a.m. on July 31 Deputy Chad VanAuken stopped a vehicle for a violation of the Vehicle and Traffic Law on Plank Road. During the traffic stop, passenger Adrianne M. Sweet of Rochester was found to be in possession of prescription pills that were not prescribed to her as well as a marijuana smoking pipe. Sweet was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana
and Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance in the Seventh degree.

The New York State Police reports:

On July 24, State Police Geneseo investigated an accident on Route 5 in the Town of Caledonia.  Marilyn E. Gross, 59, of Geneseo was traveling westbound when she drove off the north shoulder of the road and struck a mailbox.  Gross was subsequently arrested for Felony Driving While Intoxicated and Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent Person. She was arraigned by Town of Caledonia Justice Smith and remanded to Livingston County Jail in lieu of $2500 cash bail or $5000 secured bond.
