Dorothy M. Bolsei 1921-2010

RETSOF — Dorothy Morrow Bolsei, 88, a resident of the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mount Morris, died Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. Mrs. Bolsei was a longtime resident of Genesee Street in Retsof, N.Y.

She is survived by three cousins, Dixie (Larry) Chichester of Piffard, Mary Ellen (Jim) Callahan of Retsof and Marcelene Schery of Leicester; two nieces, Sheila Mitchell of Avon and Sheri Hill of Ontario, Canada.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Bolsei and her parents Floyd and Alice Morrow.

She was born April 21, 1921 in Retsof, N.Y. the daughter of Floyd and Alice Hagan Morrow. Dorothy was a faithful member of St. Lucy’s Church in Retsof.

No prior visitation hours.

A Prayer Service was held Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 9 a.m. at Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Lucy’s Church in Retsof with Father Edward Dillon officiating. Burial, St. Mary’s Cemetery in Geneseo.

Memorials may be made to the York Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 92, Retsof, NY 14539 or Masses for the repose of her soul.
