Arrests

Fugitive from Justice

Deputies arrested 54-year-old Ellis Roe of Honeoye Falls on a Fugitive From Justice Warrant after he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Deputy David Richardson stopped the vehicle Roe was operating on Route 15A, in the Town of Livonia, for having a non-working tail light. After a check of his license it was found that he had an active warrant out of Lancaster County Pa. for Failure to Appear from 2007. His original charges in that jurisdiction were for a fraud offense. He was taken into custody and arraigned in the Town of Lima Court by Judge Harris and remanded to the Livingston County Jail on no bail awaiting extradition back to Lancaster County. Sgt Michael Dougherty assisted.

Underage drinking parties

The Geneseo Police Department responded to 50 Court Street Sept. 10 for an underage drinking party. Officers arrested Jesse Cleary-Krell, 21, of Syracuse; Andrew Corcoran, 21, of Syracuse; Christopher Carter, 21, of Grand Island; and Russell Larson, 21, of Linbrook for Selling Alcohol without a License. Allegedly, the individuals were having a party and charging people for alcoholic beverages. A proper permit is required from the New York State Alcohol Beverage Control Board in order to charge people for alcoholic beverages. All individuals are scheduled to appear in Geneseo Village Court on Oct. 11. Further arrests are pending.

Evan Rothfuss, 21, of Delmar for arrested Sept. 14 by Geneseo PD for Selling Alcohol without a License on Main Street. Allegedly, Rothfuss held a party and was charging people to drink alcoholic beverages. Further charges are pending.

Drunk Driving

Matthew Lang, 25, of Avon arrested Sept. 15 by Geneseo PD for Driving While Intoxicated, Driving with more than .08 percent blood alcohol content, Uninspected Motor Vehicle, Improper Signal, Cracked Windshield, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana on Center Street. Allegedly, Lang was driving with almost twice the legal limit for intoxication. Lang is scheduled to appear in Geneseo Village Court on Oct. 11.

Brandon Horrocks, 24, of Rochester Sept. 17 by Geneseo PD for Aggravated DWI, DWI, Faliure to Keep Right, and Following Too Closely on South Street. Allegedly, Horrocks was driving while under the influence of more than twice the legal amount of alcohol. He is scheduled to appear in Geneseo Village Court on Oct. 4.

Crystal Ryan, 26, charged with driving while intoxicated-first offense, aggravated DWI: Per Se-Bac .18 of one percent or more alcohol in blood-no priors, unlawful possession of marijuana, failure to keep right: two lane road, and speeding Sept. 8 by Avon PD.

John Ambroselli, 47, three counts: DWI: alcohol or drugs-first offense, operating motor vehicle .10 of one percent alcohol-first offense, speed violation: exceed 55 MPH, Sept. 1.

John McDonough, 53, charged with aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content .18 of one percent or more alcohol in blood-no priors, and driving while intoxicated-first offense Sept. 8 by Mount Morris PD.

Drugs

Adam Foster, 21, unlawful possession of marijuana, criminal use drug paraphernalia II°: scales, criminal possession weapon IV°, equipment violation-no/ inadequate lights, operation of a motor vehicle with unsafe tires, motor vehicle violation: operation of an unregistered vehicle, operation of a motor vehicle without inspection certificate, Aug. 29 by Avon PD.

Harassment

William Knaub, 35, of Sound Beach, arrested Sept. 14 by Geneseo PD for Criminal Trespass II° and Harassment II° on University Drive. Allegedly, Knaub unlawfully entered a residence and made a threat to a person inside. Knaub was arraigned in front of Geneseo Justice Thomas Bushnell, where bail was set at $1,000 cash / $2,000 bond. Knaub made bail and was released.

Hubert Jansch, 18, charged with harassment-II°: physical contact, Aug. 29 by Dansville PD.

David Homer, 44,charged with two counts of harassment II°: physical contact Sept. 5 by Mount Morris PD.

Petit Larceny

Heather Wolfanger, 28, of Nunda, for Petit Larceny at 4235 Veteran Drive. Wolfanger is scheduled to appear in Geneseo Village Court on Oct. 4.

Matthew Polisseni, 21, charged with petit larceny, Sept. 3 by Avon PD.

License and Registration

Karl Redance, 21, charged with aggravated unlicensed operation or a motor vehicle-III°, motor vehicle license violation: no license, Aug. 30 by Dansville PD.

Rheanna Bigler, 26, charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle III°, failed to stop at stop sign, Sept. 1 by Dansville PD.

Jennifer Redding, 33, charged with aggravated unlicensed operation II°: three/more open suspensions-three/more separate dates, motor vehicle license without inspection certificate, illegal signal: from parked position, Aug. 31 by Dansville PD.

Other Charges

Matthew Polisseni, 21, charged with disorderly conduct: unreasonable noise, Sept. 3 by Avon PD.

Davon Simmons, 23, charged with trademark counterfeiting II°, unlawful possession of marijuana, Sept. 18 by Mount Morris PD.

Erica Legros, 34, charged with endangering the welfare of a child, Sept. 2 by Dansville PD.

In Court

After presentation by Eric R. Schiener, First Assistant District Attorney, the following cases were handled in the Livingston County Court before the Honorable Robert B. Wiggins on Sept. 13.

MELISSA A. CANOUGH, 28, of Clifton Springs entered a plea of guilty to Criminal Sexual Act III°. Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 15.

JERMAINE C. FELTON, 25, of Rochester was sentenced to six months incarceration in the Livingston County Jail as a result of a prior plea of guilty to Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle II° and Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol. He was also ordered to pay a fine plus penalty assessments and his license was suspended.

PAMELA F. PAPE, 59, of Canandaigua was sentenced to a term of one to three years’ incarceration in a state correctional facility as a result of a prior plea of guilty to DWI as a Felony. She was also ordered to pay a fine plus penalty assessments and her license was revoked.

A YOUTHFUL OFFENDER was sentenced to six months incarceration in the Livingston County Jail and Drug Treatment Court upon a prior admission to a violation of probation.

A YOUTHFUL OFFENDER was arraigned on a violation of probation, entered a denial, and the matter was adjourned to Sept. 27 for further proceedings. He was remanded to the Livingston County Jail without bail.

After presentation by Kyle D. MacKay, Assistant District Attorney, the following cases were handled in the Livingston County Court before the Honorable Dennis S. Cohen on Sept. 15.

CASIE J. DISALVO, 27, of Mt. Morris entered a plea of guilty to DWI as a Misdemeanor. Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 13.

STEVEN A. EARL, 21, of Dundee was charged with Rape II° and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was arraigned with his attorney, entered a plea of not guilty, and the matter was adjourned to Oct. 6 for further proceedings. Bail was set at $1,500.

BOGDAN K. JAROSZEK, JR., 42, of Nunda entered an admission to a violation of probation and the matter was adjourned to Nov. 3 for sentencing. He was remanded to the Livingston County Jail without bail.

SHAWN R. OBBAGY, 29, of Avon was charged with Criminal Mischief III°. He was arraigned with his attorney, entered a plea of not guilty, and the matter was adjourned to Oct. 5 for further proceedings. Bail was set at $10,000.

PETE ROSADO, 29, of Brooklyn entered an admission to a violation of probation and the matter was adjourned to Oct. 27 for sentencing. He was remanded to the Livingston County Jail without bail.

CHRISTOPHER A. YOUNG, 22, of Caledonia was sentenced to six months incarceration in the Livingston County Jail and five years probation as a result of a prior plea of guilty to Attempted Grand Larceny III°. He was also ordered to pay restitution plus penalty assessments.

SHERI N. LUNN, 26, of Rochester entered a plea of guilty to Grand Larceny IV° and the matter was adjourned to Oct. 27 for sentencing. She was remanded to the Livingston County Jail without bail.
