Geneseo boys track whips York
GENESEO — Geneseo had three double winners as Joe Frost won the 110 high hurdles (17.8) and high jump (5-3); Gabe Rodriguez won the 200 (24.1) and 400 (56.2); and Devon Rodriguez captured the 1600 (5:15) and 3200 (11:12) as Geneseo blasted York 112-29 in Livingston Conference boys’ track and field action April 17.
Also for Geneseo, Willy Kingston captured the 400 hurdles (69.1); Alex Whitmore won the 100 (12.2); Sean Rollins captured the 800 (2:19.1); Jake Cook went the farthest in the long jump (19-0); and Donnie Rice won the discus (114-5).
The team of Sean Aho, Nate Montesano, Zach Messerschmidt and Sean Rollins captured the 3200 relay in 10:18 for the Blue Devils.
York had three winners including Ben Shepard in the triple jump (37-4); Brandon Easton in the pole vault (9-7) and Joe Newcomb in the shot put (38-5).
