Arrests and courts, April 19 edition

Brief listings from the Record page of the Livingston County News April 19 print edition. Unless otherwise noted, people listed here are innocent until proven guilty.

Clarification

Cynthia Mack, 45, listed in our arrests April 5 for possession of marijuana and drugs, is not the same person as Cindy Mack of Rush, who works at Hairitage Salon.

Arrests

Assault

Jeffrey A. Rock, 22, of Mount Morris was arrested April 3 by LCSO for Assault III° and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Following arraignment in West Sparta Town Court, Rock was remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail. Rock will return to the West Sparta Town Court.

Harassment

Geneseo PD, along with LCSO, responded to Main Street in Geneseo April 10 for a fight. Officer Jason Yasso arrested Jonathon Cady, 22, of Groveland for Harassment II° and Disorderly Conduct. Cady is scheduled to appear in Geneseo Village Court on May 1. Allegedly, Cady engaged in fighting with a Michael Willison. Also arrested was Willison, age 22 from Groveland. Willison was arrested for Obstruction of Governmental Administration, Harassment II°, and Disorderly Conduct. Allegedly, Willison engaged in a fight with Cady; then fled from the officers when they arrived; then came back onto Main Street to continue the altercation with Cady, while the officers were still investigating the incident. Willison was arraigned in front of Geneseo Justice Thomas Bushnell and remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash / $10,000 bond. The Geneseo Ambulance also responded to the scene to check the individuals for treatment.

Drunk driving

Michael R. Bellew, 18, of Avon was arrested April 13 by LCSO forDriving While Intoxicated, Blood Alcohol Content .08 percent of Greater, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with Child In the Vehicle, Underage Consumption of Alcohol, and Illegal Window Tint. Following arraignment in Avon Town Court, Bellew was remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $400 cash bail. Bellew will return to Avon Town Court at a later date to address charges.

Victor E. Thompson, 52, of Caledonia was arrested April 8 by LCSO for Driving While Intoxicated and Speeding. Thompson will appear in Avon Town Court.

Albert D. Mee, 39, of Dansville was charged April 7 by LCSO with Driving While Intoxicated, Alcohol Content .08% or Greater, Unlicensed Operator, Speeding, and No/Inadequate Exhaust. Mee will appear in Dansville Village Court.

Drugs

James F. Smith, 40, of Livonia was arrested April 8 for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance VII°, Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Following arraignment in Livonia Town Court, Smith was remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail/$2,000 bond. Smith will return to the Livonia Town Court.

License and Registration

Luis Quinones, 27, of Mount Morris was arrested April 10 by Geneseo PD for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation III°, Unlicensed Operation, and an Equipment Violation. Quinones is scheduled to appear in Geneseo Village Court on April 21.

Andrea Emmert, 42, of Perry, NY arrested April 10 by Geneseo PD for Aggravated Unlicensed OperationII°. Emmert is scheduled to appear in Geneseo Village Court on May 15.

Eugene Scott, 30, of Dansville, was arrested April 10 by Geneseo PD for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation III°, Unlicensed Operation, and two Equipment Violations. Scott is scheduled to appear in Geneseo Village Court on May 15.

Andrew Howe, 26, of Dansville, was arrested April 11 by Geneseo PD for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation III°, Unlicensed Operation, Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Suspended Registration, and a Equipment Violation. Allegedly, Howe’s license was suspended. Howe is scheduled to appear in Geneseo Village Court May 15.

Eric Anthony, 39 of Rochester, arrested April 13 for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation III°, Unlicensed Operation, No Insurance, and an Equipment Violation. Allegedly, Anthony’s license was suspended from the Town of Ogden. Anthony is scheduled to appear in Geneseo Village Court on May 15.

Other charges

David D. Hoffman, 48, of Yorkshire, N.Y. was charged April , with Criminal Contempt II° by LCSO. Hoffman will appear in the Nunda Town Court at a later date.

Corey L. Yeoman, 20, of Mount Morris, NY, was charged April 7 by LCSO with Criminal Mischief IV°. Following arraignment in Leicester Town Court, Yeoman was remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $200 cash bail. Yeoman will appear at a later date in Leicester Town Court.

Samuel Argentieri, 22, of Mount Morris April 12 for Unlawful Dealing with a Child I°. Allegedly, Argentieri purchased alcoholic beverages for a person under the age of 21 years old. Argentieri is scheduled to appear in Geneseo Village Court May 8.

In court

CHRISTOPHER M. BAROODY, 25, of Mount Morris was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E Felony; Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle I°, a Class E Felony; Refusal to Submit to a Field Screening Test, Failure to Use Designated Lane, Unsafe Lane Change, and and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident. He was arraigned without an attorney, entered a plea of not guilty, and the matter was adjourned to May 1 for further proceedings. Bail was continued at $5,000 and his license was suspended pending prosecution.

BROCK M. HYDE, 29, of Conesus was sentenced as a second felony offender to a term of two to four years incarceration in a state correctional facility as a result of a plea of guilty to Attempted Reckless Endangerment I°, a Class C Felony; Unlawfully Fleeing a Police Officer III°, a Class A Misdemeanor; and Resisting Arrest, a Class A Misdemeanor. He was also ordered to pay surcharges and waived his right to appeal.

EMMANUEL M. IBARRONODO, 29, of Bronx entered a plea of guilty to Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance IV°, a Class C Felony. His bail was revoked and the matter was adjourned to May 22 for sentencing.

SCOTT E. LUSK, 24, of Wayland was sentenced to a term of one year incarceration in the Livingston County Jail upon a prior admission to a violation of probation and his probation was also revoked.

MATTHEW J. OLIVO, 24, of Avon was sentenced to four months incarceration in the Livingston County Jail and five years probation as a result of a prior plea of guilty to Forgery II°, a Class D Felony. He was also ordered to pay surcharges.

ZACHARY G. PRUONTO, 26, of Hunt was sentenced to continue probation and pay a $5,000 fine as a result of a prior admission to a violation of probation.

LEIGH C. SCIPIONE, 32, of Livonia was sentenced to one year incarceration in the Livingston County Jail upon a prior admission to a violation of probation and her probation was also revoked.

KEVIN J. ASTI, 19, of Leicester was charged with Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree, a Class D Felony; Criminal Mischief III°, a Class E Felony, Strangulation II°, a Class D Felony; Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation, a Class A Misdemeanor; Menacing II°, a Class A Misdemeanor; Criminal Contempt II°, a Class A Misdemeanor; and Assault III°, a Class A Misdemeanor. He was arraigned with his attorney, entered a plea of not guilty, and the matter was adjourned to May 22 for further proceedings. Bail was continued at $15,000.

ROBERT B. WIEDRICK, 38, of Dansville was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, a Class D Felony; and Failure to Keep Right. He was arraigned with his attorney, entered a plea of not guilty, and the matter was adjourned for further proceedings. His license was suspended pending prosecution and he was released on his own recognizance until his next court appear on April 17.

After presentation by Ronald A. Cicoria, Acting District Attorney, the Livingston County Grand Jury handed up indictments on the following individuals on April 12.

DONNELL LEMMON, 42, of Atlanta was charged with Criminal Mischief II°, a Class D Felony; and Harassment II° .

MICHAEL T. QUENELL, 23, of Geneseo was charged with Grand Larceny IV°, a Class E Felony.

Some districts face harsh cuts to bridge budget gaps

The 10 school districts with territory fully or partially within Livingston County will have budget votes and school board elections on Tuesday. The vote in many districts include board of education seats and additional propositions for bus purchases, staffing changes and capital projects.
