Car accident stalls traffic on Route 20A

An 81-year-old Geneseo man is in critical condition after his car was struck by a pickup truck in Geneseo Wednesday morning. According to Geneseo Police, James Conlon, driving a white Pontiac Vibe, drove through the stop sign at Elm Street and Route 20A. He was struck by Paul Robinson, 47, of Dansville, who was driving a Pontiac Silverado pick-up truck.

Conlon was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester for treatment of his injuries. Robinson suffered minor injuries and was not transported for treatment.

The accident remains under investigation.
