Fillmore man killed in Livonia crash
A 58-year-old Fillmore man is dead following a serious motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Stone Hill Road and Route 15 in the Town of Livonia May 11.
According to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, Gary Anderson, traveling west on Stone Hill Road, failed to stop at a stop sign. His Ford E350 van collided with a 2009 Chevy Traverse driven by Richard McAvoy, 79, of Rochester.
Both vehicles overturned. Anderson and his 15-year-old passenger were ejected from the vehicle. Richard Mcavoy and his 88-year-old wife Betty were overturned and trapped in their vehicle and had to be freed by the Livonia Fire Department.
Anderson suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the motor vehicle scene. The other three involved were all transported by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital for neck and back injuries.

Hemlock Fire Dept, Lima Ambulance, Avon ALS, and Livingston County EMS assisted
