Keshequa softball goes back-to-back

GAINSEVILLE — Top-seeded Keshequa captured their second straight sectional softball title with the 13-2 Class C3 victory over No. 3 seeded Honeoye, the same team the Lady Indians defeated last year for the crown.

Alex Flint earned MVP honors as the junior tossed a complete game four-hitter with 15 K’s and no walks.

At the plate, Flint went 3-4 with a homerun.

Also for Keshequa, Tessa Gordinier was 3-4 with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored while Selena Erwin was 3-4 with three runs scored and one RBI. Kristen Jackson was 2-4 with a double; Ariel Wood went 1-3 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored while Haley Russell had a hit and scored twice.

Honeoye (16-4) was led by Erica Crastley who was 2-3 with two runs scored while Erin Converse was 1-3 with one RBI.
