George D. Root

LIVONIA — George D. Root died May 28, 2012 at age 81 years.

He was predeceased by wife, Rhea and daughter, Chrystal Root. Survived by five children, Kimberly Root, Jeffrey Root, and Jody Root all of Mount Morris, Dean Root of LeRoy and Tammy Ann Root of Syracuse; five grandchildren; friends, Sandy Stokesberry, Tracey Mayen and Eric Trescott.

Friends called 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., Routes 15 and 20A, 21 Big Tree St., Livonia, where funeral services were held Friday at 11 a.m. Burial, Pleasant Valley Cemetery, York.
