Sponsors, golfers still being sought for VFW Golf Tournament
GENESEO — The Second Annual VFW Benefit Golf Tournament at Livingston Country Club in Geneseo will take place Monday, June 25.
The event supports 2012 Special Interests of Geneseo’s VFW Post, American Legion Post and Five Star Bank.
Funding and donations have also been accepted by the Geneseo Central School Boy’s and Girl’s State Candidates, the Rochester Veteran’s Outreach Center and the Zion House of Avon.
There is a 124 golfer limit, so make sure you get your ticket to the event soon and the tournament will stop selling tickets on June 20.
Players can make their own foursomes if they choose.
Cost of entry is $60 per golfer and includes 18 holes of golf, a golf car and dinner afterward.
Dinner selections will be made at registration from a choice of roasted chicken or prime rib of beef. Registration starts at 11:30 a.m.
