Betty Elaine Monett

Nov. 23, 1936 – June 09, 2012

LAKEVILLE — Betty Elaine Monett passed away on June 09, 2012 after a courageous battle with a devastating illness over the past 21 months.

A service will be held next week at the Sarasota National Cemetery, with a party in Betty’s honor immediately following at 6683 Old Ranch Road, Sarasota, Fla.
Betty was born in Rochester, N.Y. and was pre-deceased by her parents and brother, Rudy, Elsie (Wihlen), and Donald Schmidt.

Betty is survived by her husband, Ken; daughters, Linda Monette, and Karen (Mark) Konzel; grandchildren, Bryan (Laura) Boley, Nico and Alisha Ferry, and Tim and Trisha Konzel all of Sarasota, Fla.

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the TideWell Hospice, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.
