William H. Barrett

AVON — William H. Barrett, age 86, formerly of Leicester, New York died June 11, 2012 at the Avon Nursing Home in Avon where he had been residing.

He was born in Leicester, New York, December 23, 1925 the son of the late William T. Barrett and the late Alice Stocking Barrett.

He is survived by his wife, Doris B. Barrett of Geneseo whom he married in 1948; a son: Robert Barrett of Morrison, Colo.; two daughters: Betty (Larry) Ressue of Newark and Susan (James) Elkins of Alpharetta, Ga.; seven grandchildren: Jennifer Foster, Rachael Franklin, Robert A. Barrett, Karen and David Ressue, Andrew and Katie Elkins; along with eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Cecil, Otis and John Barrett.

Family and friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, June 15th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC., 98 North Main St., Perry. Services will be held on Saturday, June 16 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Leicester Cemetery, Leicester
