Geraldine A. Doherty

RUSH — Geraldine A. Doherty passed away on June 8, 2012 at age 74.

Predeceased by her parents, Joseph L. and Constance Mary Angelo; brother, Joseph L. Angelo, Jr.; niece, Carrie Angelo; and son-in-law, Ronald F. Kretchmer.

Survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Joseph R. Doherty; devoted children, Barbara Plack, Sandra (Peter) Sylvester, Cynthia Mangum Kretchmer, Terri (Steven) Riggs, Joseph R. Doherty, Jr. and Paula Grassl; 14 grandchildren; one great grandchild; sister, Constance (William) O’Conner; brother, Edward (Jerri) Angelo; nieces and nephews.

Geraldine’s Funeral Mass was held at St. Joseph’s Church (1209 Rush Lima Rd. in Rush) on Thursday, June 14, at 10 a.m. Following the Mass, the family received friends at church until 1p.m. Interment was Private. Donations may be made to a charity supporting breast cancer research or a charity of one’s choice in Geri’s memory.
