Raymond S. Morrell

LIVONIA — Raymond S. Morrell, died June 23, 2012 at age 94 years.

He was predeceased by his wife of 69 years, Ruth on Jan 17, 2012.
Survived by his children, Carol Cottone of Avon, Marjorie Houck of Avon and Joann (Anthony) Backus of Avon; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

He served his country in World War II and was a long time teacher at Avon Central School prior to retirement.

Friends called Tuesday 2-4, 6-8 p.m. at Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., Routes 15 and 20A, 21 Big Tree St., Livonia, where funeral services were held Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial, with full military honors, in Temple Hill Cemetery, Geneseo. Memorial contributions to the Harrison-Legion Post 283, PO 346, Livonia, NY 14487.
