Arrests and courts, week of July 19

The following are brief listings from our July 19 print edition. Individuals listed below are innocent until proven guilty.

Arrests

Weapons

Nicholas J. Hellis, 22, of Greece was arrested July 7 by LCSO for Criminal Possession of a Weapon III° and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property IV°. Following arraignment, Hellis was remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail/$50,000 property bond. Hellis will report to Ossian Town Court to address charges.

Theft

Tyson J. Mosher, 16, of Lakeville was charged with Burglary II° and Petit Larceny on July 5 by LCSO. Following arraignment in Livonia Town Court, Mosher was remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash bail/$4,000 property bond. Mosher will return to Livonia Town Court to answer charges.

Tyler M. Day, 18, of Geneseo, was arrested July 9 by LCSO for Burglary II° and Petit Larceny. Following arraignment, Day was remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail/$20,000 property bond. Day will answer charges in Livingston County Court on a later date.

Harassment

Brian L. Twitchell, 38, of Mount Morris was charged on July 7 by LCSO for Harassment II°. Twitchell will appear in Lima Town Court to answer charges.

Drunk driving

Michael R. Chadwick, 36, Groveland was arrested July 1 by LCSO for Driving While Intoxicated, Blood Alcohol Content .08 percent or Greater and Moving From Lane Unsafely. Chadwick will appear in Conesus Town Court to answer charges on a later date.

Heather L. Jerge, 29, Houghton was charged by LCSO with Driving While Intoxicated, Blood Alcohol Content .08 percent or Greater, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle I°, Unlicensed Operator and Speeding on July 7. Following arraignment, Jerge was remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail/$20,000 property bond. Jerge will appear in Livingston County Court to answer charges.

Daniel J. Cieri, 52, of Livonia, was arrested July 11 by LCSO for Driving While Intoxicated, Blood Alcohol Content .08 percent or Greater, No Turn Signal, Failure To Keep Right, No/Insufficient Headlight and No/Insufficient Tail Light. Cieri will answer charges in Livonia Town Court.

Nancy Corbett, 67, of Conesus, was arrested July 13 by Geneseo PD for Driving While Intoxicated, Improper Turn, and Failure to Keep Right on Highland Road. Corbett is scheduled to appear in Geneseo Village Court Aug. 14.

License and Registration

Nathaniel Drake, 29, of Mount Morris was arrested by Geneseo PD July 12 for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation II°, Unlicensed Operation, Operating out of Ignition Interlock Restrictions, Uninspected Motor Vehicle, and two counts of Failing to Stop at a Stop Sign. Allegedly, Drake was driving on Center Street while having a revocation for Driving While Intoxicated, as well as having four other suspensions, operating out of his ignition interlock restrictions, and failing to stop at two separate stop signs. Drake was arraigned in front of Geneseo Justice Bradley Janson who released Drake to appear at a later court date.

Zuyu Chen, 55, of Markham was arrested by Geneseo PD July 12 for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation III° and an Equipment Violation on South Street. Chen is scheduled to appear in Geneseo Village Court on Aug. 21.

Joel Santora, 23, arrested for no seat belt-driver, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle III° June 29 by Caledonia PD.

Other charges

John R. Smith, 59, Livonia, NY, was charged with Criminal Mischief IV° on July 6 by LCSO. Smith will report to Livonia Town Court to answer charges .

Thomas C. Patterson, 47, Dansville was arrested for Falsifying Business Records and Endangering The Welfare of a Child on July 2 by LCSO Patterson will answer charges in Dansville Court on a later date.

Shannon M. Foster, 43, of Conesus was charged with Disorderly Conduct on July 8 by LCSO. Foster will answer charges in Conesus Town Court.

Timothy L. Wells, Jr., 19, and Brent M. Masten, 19, both of Dansville, and Lisa M. Lolley, 17, of Hornell, were arrested July 7, charged with Trespassing by LCSO. Wells, Masten and Lolley will address charges at a later date in North Dansville Town Court.

Gabriel Toledo, 26. pf Geneseo, was arrested by Geneseo PD July 12 for Endangering the Welfare of Child at April Way. Allegedly, Toledo left her child, age 5, alone without supervision. Toledo is scheduled to appear in Geneseo Village Court on August 7. The Geneseo Police Department was assisted in this investigation by the Livingston County Child Protective Department.

John Williams, 68, of Honeoye was arrested by Geneseo PD July 14 for Animal Cruelty. Allegedly, Williams left his dog inside a vehicle for at least 40 minutes and the officer found the temperature of the inside of the vehicle at 96 degrees and the animal in imminent danger. Williams is scheduled to appear in Geneseo Village Court on Aug.. 7.

Elvin Johnson, 19, of Geneseo, was arrested July 15 by Geneseo PD for Disorderly Conduct. Allegedly, Johnson tried to enter a bar and after being denied entry, became belligerent, violent and started fighting. Johnson is scheduled to appear in Geneseo Village Court on Aug. 17.

Kyle Martin, 19, arrested for disorderly conduct: unreasonable noise July 9 by Avon PD.

In court

After presentation by Victor D. Rowcliffe, Assistant District Attorney, the following cases were handled in the Livingston County Court before the Honorable Dennis S. Cohen on June 28.

RONALD R. ARVER, 30, of Livonia entered an admission to a violation of probation and the matter was adjourned to Aug. 9 for sentencing. He was remanded to the county jail without bail.

JEFFREY M. BLAIR, 22, of Pennsylvania was sentenced as a second felony offender to a term of one and one-half to three years incarceration in a state correctional facility as a result of a plea of guilty to Attempted Criminal Possession of Stolen Property III°, a Class E Felony. He was also ordered to pay surcharges and DNA fees.

MARY J. LINEHAN, 49,of Bloomfield was sentenced to four months intermittent incarceration in the Livingston County Jail and five years probation to include six months electronic home monitoring as a result of a prior plea of guilty to Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E Felony. She was also ordered to pay a fine plus penalty assessments and her license was revoked with a requirement to install an Ignition Interlock Device.

NIKKI M. STEGER, 21, of Livonia entered a plea of guilty to Grand Larceny IV°, a Class E Felony. Sentencing is scheduled July 12.

After presentation by Gregory J. McCaffrey, District Attorney, the following cases were handled in the Livingston County Court before the Honorable Robert B. Wiggins on July 3.

A YOUTHFUL OFFFENDER was sentenced to five years probation and ordered to complete 100 hours community service as a result of a plea of guilty to Burglary III°, a Class D Felony. He was also ordered to pay surcharges, DNA fees, and restitution.

KATHLEEN A. MIDDLETON, 47, of Dansville was sentenced to five years probation and ordered to complete 200 hours community service as a result of a plea of guilty to Forgery II°, a Class D Felony; and Identity Theft II°, a Class E Felony. She was also ordered to pay surcharges and DNA fees.
