Allan B. Anderson

YORK — Allan B. Anderson, 96 of Limerick Road in York, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mount Morris.

He was born the son of Allan and Florence Anderson Sr. on December 8, 1915 in Oakfield, N.Y.

He is survived by his three children, Paul A. (Lee Vester) Anderson of Rochester, John A. (Bonnie Swanson) Anderson of York and Constance “Connie” (Paul) Allison of East Amherst; daughter-in-law, Joanne Anderson of Avon; seven grandchildren, Garth, James, Carl, Christine, Seanna, Patrick and Kathryn; and 13 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Vera in 1997, son Garth in 1993 and his sister Grace.

Friends called Monday 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main Street in Geneseo where Funeral Services followed visitation at 2 p.m. Interment Pleasant Valley Cemetery, York. Memorials may be made to the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center, PO Box 23029, Rochester, NY 14692-9804.
