The following are brief listings from the Livingston County News Aug. 2 “Record” page. Individuals listed below are innocent until proven guilty.
Arrests
Drunk driving
Kevin M. Ryan, 27, of Lima was charged with Felony Driving While Intoxicated, Felony Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, Blood Alcohol Content .18 percent or Greater, Driving Across Hazardous Markings, Moving From Lane Unsafely and Failure To Use Designated Lane by LCSO. Following arraignment in Avon Town Court, Ryan was remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail/$5,000 property bond. Ryan will answer charges in Livingston County Court.
Paula M. Orme, 41, of Conesus was arrested July 20 by LCSO for Driving While Intoxicated, Blood Alcohol Content .08 percent or Greater and Inadequate Exhaust. Orme will address charges in Livonia Town Court.
Patricia A. Staley, 59, of Honeoye Falls was charged July 22 by LCSO with Driving While Intoxicated, Blood Alcohol Level .08 percent or Greater, Speeding and Failure To Stay in Designated Lane. Staley will answer charges in Livonia Town Court.
Winter E. Vazquez, 24, Lakeville was arrested July 21 by LCSO for Driving While Intoxicated, Blood Alcohol Level .08 percent or Greater. Vazquez will answer charges in Lima Town Court on a later date.
Jonathan Mills, 48, of Geneseo for Driving While Intoxicated, Driving with more than .08 percent blood alcohol content, and Improper Turn by Geneseo PD for July 22. Allegedly, Mills was driving on North Street while having twice the legal limit allowed for driving while intoxicated. Mills is scheduled to appear in Geneseo Village Court on Aug. 28.
Evan Hill, 23, from Savona for Driving While Intoxicated, Driving with more than .08 percent blood alcohol content, Consumption on an Open Container in the Motor Vehicle, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana by Geneseo PD on July 29. Hill is scheduled to appear in Geneseo Village Court on Aug. 21.
Randall J. Vanelli Jr., 41, of Caledonia was arrested for DWI Drugs and Endangering the Welfare of a Child in Caledonia by Caledonia PD. Vanelli is due back in court at a later date.
Kyle Nash, 25, arrested by Caledonia PD for operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .10 of one percent, operating a motor vehicle intoxicated, moving from lane unsafely, and speeding on July 7.
Drugs
Levi Vanella, 25, was arrested by Avon PD for criminal possession of a controlled substance VII°, and unlawful possession of marijuana on July 18.
Harassment
James K. A. Green IV, 30, of Avon was arrested July 21 by LCSO for Harassment II° and Criminal Trespass III°. Green will report to Livonia Town Court.
Krystyna E. Werndle, 25, of Arkport was arrested by LCSO for Harassment II° and Criminal Contempt I° on July 24. Following arraignment in West Sparta Town Court, Werndle was remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail/$10,000 Property bond. Werndle will return to West Sparta Town Court.
Kara L. Egger, 21, Honeoye was cited for Harassment on July 22 by LCSO and was released on an appearance ticket to appear in Livonia Town Court.
Laura Kelly, 71, arrested by Avon PD for harassment II°: physical contact on July 9.
Fugitive from justice
Daniel J. Cook, 34, of Dansville was arrested on a Fugitive From Justice Warrant from the State of West Virginia on July 23 by LCSO. Cook is being held in the Livingston County Jail on no bail.
Theft
Jeremiah J. Leathersich, 33, Caledonia was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny III° on July 26 by LCSO. Following arraignment in Caledonia Town Court, Leathersich was remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail/$10,000 property bond. Leathersich will return to Caledonia Town Court.
Kristie Spencer, 23 from Mount Morris and a Juvenile for Petit Larceny July 26 by Geneseo PD. Allegedly, both individuals stole merchandise totaling more than $185. Spencer is scheduled to appear in Geneseo Village Court on Aug. 14 and the Juvenile was referred to the Livingston County Probation Department.
License and registration
Shanah Alexander, 35, of Geneseo was arrested July 28 by Geneseo PD for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation III°, Unlicensed Operation and an Equipment Violation on Center Street. Alexander is scheduled to appear in Geneseo Village Court on Aug. 21.
Deborah Hackett, 58, was arrested by Avon PD for a suspended registration on July 2.
Frank Mare, 34, was arrested by Dansville PD for failure to obey a traffic control device, improper passing on right, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle III°, failure to notify DMV of address change on July 17.
Rivera Colon, 29, was arrested for disorderly conduct: create hazardous or physically offensive condition by Dansville PD July 10.
Other charges
Jacob R. Murray, 20, of Lima was charged with two counts of Criminal Contempt I° on July 23 by LCSO. Following arraignment in Lima Town Court, Murray was remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail/$10,000 property bond. Murray will return to Lima Town Court to answer charges.
Johnathan Eckam, 42 from Geneseo, NY for Criminal Contempt I° on July 25 by Geneseo PD. Eckam was arraigned in front of Geneseo Justice Thomas Bushnell and remanded to the Livingston County Jail without bail.
Jamey Barrett, 18, was arrested for acting in a manner injurous to a child less than 17 by Dansville PD on July 18.
In court
After presentation by Gregory J. McCaffrey, District Attorney, the following cases were handled in the Livingston County Court before the Honorable Robert B. Wiggins on July 19.
DONNELL LEMMON, 42, of Atlanta was charged with Criminal Contempt I°, a Class E Felony. He was arraigned with his attorney, entered a plea of not guilty, and the matter was adjourned to Aug. 31 for further proceedings. Bail was set at $15,000.
A YOUTHFUL OFFENDER was charged with Burglary II°, a Class C Felony; Burglary III°, a Class D Felony; Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor; and Criminal Mischief III°, a Class E Felony. He was arraigned with his attorney, entered a plea of not guilty, and the matter was adjourned to Sept. 6 for further proceedings. He was released with Electronic Home Monitoring
After presentation by Victor D. Rowcliffe, Assistant District Attorney, the following cases were handled in the Livingston County Court before the Honorable Dennis S. Cohen on July 19.
ADALBERTO ALERS, JR., 22, of Avon was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle I°, Driving While Intoxicated as a Misdemeanor, and Failure to Keep Right. He was arraigned with his attorney, entered a plea of not guilty, and the matter was adjourned to Aug. 16 for further proceedings. Bail was set at $5,000.
CATHY J. BARNHART, 47, of Livonia entered a plea of guilty to Grand Larceny IV°, a Class E Felony. Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 16. She was remanded to the Livingston County Jail without bail.
JON K. DENNEE, 51, formerly of the Groveland Correctional Facility was charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument II°, a Class D Felony; and three counts of Offering a False Instrument for Filing I°, a Class E Felony. He was arraigned with his attorney, entered a plea of not guilty, and the matter was adjourned to Aug. 16 for further proceedings. Bail was set at $10,000.
BRUCE W. MAY, 38, of Geneseo was charged with Criminal Contempt I°, a Class E Felony. He was arraigned with his attorney, entered a plea of not guilty, and the matter was adjourned to Aug. 30 for further proceedings. Bail was set at $10,000.
