Charlene M. “Sherry” Ruliffson

GENESEO — Charlene M. “Sherry” Ruliffson, 64, of Groveland Road in Geneseo, died suddenly Thursday, August 2, 2012 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on Route 39 in Avon.

She was preceded in death by her father Cornelius Devine, and her brother Scott Devine.

She is survived by her daughter, Tricia (Mike Walker) Ruliffson of Geneseo; her son, Rick (Sandra) Ruliffson of Chandler, Ariz.; her grandchildren, Paul and Sarah Ruliffson of Chandler, Ariz.; her mother, Betty Devine of Geneseo; her sister, Paula (Jim) Jones of Conesus; her brother, Bill (Anne) Devine of Groveland; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sherry was born June 18, 1948 in Rochester, N.Y. the daughter of Cornelius and Betty Gotham Devine.

Visitation was held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Sunday, August 5, 2012 from 1-6 p.m. Funeral Mass was held Monday, August 6, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Father Edward Dillon officiating. Private Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery in Geneseo.
