Trespassing complaints are up in Geneseo
The Geneseo Police Department received several complaints of an unknown person or people entering houses and vehicles in the Indian Meadows area on the night of Aug. 9 into the morning hours of Aug. 10.
In all incidents, the suspect(s) took advantage of houses and cars that were either unlocked or doors left open.
If anyone has information that could assist us in this investigation, they are requested to contact the Geneseo Police Department at 243-2420. All information can be treated as confidential.
The Geneseo Police Department would like to remind all residents to keep their doors and windows secured while they are not home or when they are sleeping.
Police also remind people to lock vehicles and keep valuables out of sight. Unlocked cars and vehicles left with their windows down are an open invitation to thieves.
