The following are arrests and court listings from the Record page of the Livingston County News Oct. 4 print edition. People listed here are innocent until proven guilty.
Arrests
Drugs
Alisha L. Crandall, 21, of Mount Morris was arrested by LCSO for two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance VII° and one count of Criminal Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument on Sept. 23. Crandall will address charges in Avon Town Court.
David R. Mark, 26, of Dansville was arrested by LCSO with Criminal Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance on Sept. 23. Mark will answer charges in Avon Town Court.
Meghan N. Walsh, 18, of Geneseo was arrested Sept. 21 by LCSO for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance VII° and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Walsh will appear in Geneseo Town Court to address charges on a later date.
Drunk driving
Colin J. Pollard, 21, of Springwater was arrested September 22, charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Blood Alcohol Content .08 percent or Greater, Unsafe Lane Change and Driving Across Hazardous Markings. Pollard will appear in North Dansville Town Court to address charges.
Ryan D. Lewis, 21, of Livonia, was arrested by Sept. 22 for Driving While Intoxicated, Blood Alcohol Content .08 percent or Greater, Failure To Keep Right and Failure To Use Designated Lane. Lewis will answer charges in Livonia Town Court on a later date.
Kevin Vandusen, 56. of Livonia was arrested by Geneseo PD for Driving While Intoxicated, Driving with more than .08 percent blood alcohol content, Failure to Keep Right, and Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign. Vandusen is scheduled to appear in Geneseo Village Court on Oct. 9.
License and registration
Franklin A. Gay, 37, of Rochester was arrested by LCSO Sept. 21 for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle II°, Possession/Consumption of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Gay will report to West Sparta Town Court to answer charges.
Harassment
Jeffrey Rolison, 46, was arrested by Mount Morris PD for harassment II° on Sept. 11.
Jeremy Hoffman, 33, was arrested for harassment-II°: physical contact by Mount Morris PD on Sept. 5.
Jonathan Carr II, 23, was arrested by Nunda PD for criminal mischief: reckless property damage greater than $250, harassment- II°: physical contact, on Sept. 15.
Stephen Jeffords, 51, was arrested for criminal contemp -II°: disobey court, harassment-II°, Sept. 13 by Nunda PD.
Other charges
Johnny P. Mastrella-Onorasti, 21, of Piffard was arrested by LCSO Sept. 25, for two counts of Unlawfully Dealing With a Child I° and one count of Endangering The Welfare of a Child. Following arraignment in York Town Court, Mastrella-Onorasti was remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail/$2,000 property bond. Mastrella-Onorasti will return to York Town Court.
Amy L. Patterson, 41, of Honeoye Falls was arrested Sept. 22 by LCSO for Criminal Mischief IV°. Patterson will appear in Nunda Town Court to address charges on a later date.
Katherine S. Cole, 24, of Dansville was arrested by LCSO for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property V° on Sept. 26. Cole will answer charges in Groveland Town Court on a later date.
Larry Quackenbush, 40, was arrested by Caledonia PD for drinking alcohol in motor vehicle on highway and resisting arrest, on Sept. 15.
Stacy Herrington, 25, of Geneseo, was arrested by Geneseo PD on a Violation of Probation Warrant. Allegedly, Herrington violated a condition of her probation. Herrington was committed to the Livingston County Jail without bail.
Fake IDs
On Sept. 28 and Sept. 29, the Geneseo Police Department, in cooperation with the New York State Department of Motor Vehicle’s Fraud Unit, performed several fraudulent identification checks at area bars.
The detail entailed locating persons using fake or fraudulent identifications, while attempting to enter a bar or liquor store to purchase alcoholic beverage.
During the detail 31 violations were issued for people possessing fraudulent identifications. These identifications included fraudulent out-of-state driver’s licenses and altered/fraudulent New York State driver’s licenses.
All fake licenses were confiscated by the officers. The officers found the following breakdown of confiscated fraudulent documents:
• 15 licenses were fake or fraudulent New York State licenses
• 6 licenses were fake or fraudulent Pennsylvania licenses
• 3 licenses were fake or fraudulent New Jersey licenses
• 3 licenses were fake or fraudulent Maryland licenses
• 2 license was a fake or fraudulent Rhode Island license
• 1 license was a fake or fraudulent British Columbia license
• 1 license was a fake or fraudulent Manitoba license
In court
After presentation by Gregory J. McCaffrey, District Attorney, the following cases were handled in the Livingston County Court before the Honorable Robert B. Wiggins on Sept. 25.
NICHOLAS F. DONOGHUE, 23, of Caledonia entered an admission to a violation of probation and the matter was adjourned to Oct. 30 for sentencing. He was remanded to the Livingston County Jail without bail.
JASON C. REGATUSO, 28, of Mount Morris entered an plea of guilty to Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E Felony; and the matter was adjourned to Nov. 13 for sentencing.
JAMIE J. WOLFANGER, 28, of Dansville entered a plea of guilty to Criminal Contempt I°, a Class E Felony; and the matter was adjourned to Nov. 13 for sentencing. An Order of Protection was issued for the victim and he was remanded to the Livingston County Jail without bail.
MICHAEL R. MACK, 26, of Mumford was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E Felony; Inadequate Exhaust, and Operating an Uninspected Motor Vehicle on July 11; he was also charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E Felony; and Failure to Signal on Sept. 1. He was arraigned with his attorney on both matters, entered a plea of not guilty on each, and the matter was adjourned to Oct. 2 for further proceedings. Bail was set at $50,000 and his license was suspended pending prosecution.
After presentation by Victor D. Rowcliffe, First Assistant District Attorney, the following cases were handled in the Livingston County Court before the Honorable Dennis S. Cohen on Sept. 27.
DEANNA L. LEACH, 39, of Leicester was sentenced to a term of two to four years incarceration in a state correctional facility as a result of a prior plea of guilty to Forgery II°, Class D Felony; and she was also sentenced to a concurrent term of one to three years incarceration in a state correctional facility as a result of a prior admission to a violation of probation. She was ordered to pay $9,122.25 restitution.
JOSEPH C. MOSHER, 34, of Lakeville was sentenced to four months intermittent incarceration in the Livingston County Jail and five years probation as a result of a prior plea of guilty to Failure to Register or Verify Address with Sex Offender Registry, a Class E Felony. He was also ordered to pay surcharges and an Order of Protection was issued for the victim.
MICHAEL MERRILLS, 48, of Wayland was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E Felony; Possession of an Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle, Speeding, and Failure to Keep Right. He was arraigned with his attorney, entered a plea of not guilty, and the matter was adjourned to Oct. 18 for further proceedings.
After presentation by Gregory J. McCaffrey, District Attorney, the Livingston County Grand Jury handed up indictments on the following individuals on Sept. 19.
SAMUEL J. INGALLINA, 43, of Livonia was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Class D Felony; Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Passenger, a Class E Felony; two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Misdemeanor; and Operating an Uninspected Motor Vehicle.
DANNIE A. BENJAMIN, 23, of Groveland was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E Felony; Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle III°, a Misdemeanor; Failure to Keep Right, and Refusal to Submit to a Field Screening Test.
GREGORY P. HANAFIN, 54, of Livonia was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E Felony; and Failure to Use Designated Lane.
DONNELL F. LEMMON, 32, of Mount Morris was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance V°, a Class D Felony; and Criminal Contempt II°, a Misdemeanor.
JERRY E. EDMISTER, 50, of Wayland was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance V°, a Class D Felony.
STEPHANIE L. DEAN, 22, of Mt. Morris was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance V°, a Class D Felony.
