Harold R. Rossborough Jr.

GENESEO — Harold R. Rossborough Jr., 89, died Sunday, January 13, 2013 in Murrells Inlet, S.C. Mr. Rossborough was a resident of Geneseo Heights Apartments.

He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Rossborough; his daughter, Sharon Ellis; and his sister, Eleanor Krebbecks.

He is survived by his son, Robert (Sharon) Rossborough of Murrells Inlet, S.C.; son-in-law, Roy “Butch” Ellis of Geneseo; grandchildren, Chad Rossborough, Bobbie Lee (Zack) Weston, William (Jill) Rossborough; great-grandchildren, Emma, Bailey and Molly Rossborough, Tyler and Payton Weston, Taryn and Paige Rossborough; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was born January 11, 1924 in Avon, N.Y. the son of Harold R. and Rosetta Bell Rossborough Sr. Mr. Rossborough was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran. He was retired from the New York State Department of Transportation in Geneseo where he served as a Senior Accounting Clerk.

He was well known throughout the area for his accordion music that he shared for over 70 years. He was an avid New York Yankees fan.

Visitation was held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. where Funeral Services were held Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 10 a.m. Burial Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo.
