LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Fracking bus trip was educational

Concerned fracking citizens of York tell the truth.

On Dec. 1, 2012, Dave Nagel, chairman of the York Town Planning Board, the York Town Board, the York Fracking Committee, the York highway superintendent, the York town lawyer, the York town engineer and guests from Avon took a bus tour to inspect the environmental impact of current hydrofracturing practices in Pennsylvania.

What was seen on the bus trip was far from what was portrayed in the presentation from the Jan. 26, meeting. This trip was certainly educational in a “fracking experience.”

Ask the people who were on the bus if what they saw was what they expected?

You really shouldn’t tell “untruths” in front of your children.
