Caledonia photographer Linda Ludlum spent an entire afternoon in the pastures of Kyle Farms, a 30-year family run farm in Avon that raises sheep. One of the dozens of photos she took that day has been selected for the front cover of the Livingston County 2013 Business Directory.

The U.S. Postal Service has introduced a new "Village Post Office" design — the first in Livingston County — at Ace Hardware, 229 North St., Caledonia, offering many of the services of a regular post office.

Ace is the place for mail in Caledonia

Last month, a Village Post Office opened in Caledonia’s Ace Hardware, 229 North St., one block from the former Caledonia Post Office. While word of the VPO is still getting around, Scott Ward, vice-president at ACE, said customers are pleased to have a post office back in Caledonia.
