Arrest follows fake robbery report in Caledonia

FISHER MUG

The Livingston County Sheriff's Office arrested a Caledonia man Wednesday for Falsely Reporting an Incident in the Third Degree.

Daniel B. Fisher,  19, allegedly reported  a robbery from the A-Plus mini-mart where he is employed as a clerk. Fisher
called both his manager and the Livingston County Emergency 911 center and reported that he had been robbed at knifepoint of $100.

Investigators learned that Fisher was not robbed. In fact, he made the whole story up.

Fisher was arraigned in the Town Court Town of York in front of Justice Purtell and remanded to the Livingston County
Jail in lieu of $500.00 cash bail or $1,000.00 bond. He will appear in the Village of Caledonia Court at a later date for further court proceedings.

This arrest was the result of a joint investigation with the Caledonia Police Department.
