A 21-year-old Hunt woman is dead after her car flipped over on Creek Road in the Town of Mount Morris.
According to New York State Police, Ashley Sherlock, was headed north when her car crossed the opposite lane and entered a ditch, causing the vehicle to flip onto its roof. Due to injuries sustained in the accident, Sherlock was pronounced dead at the scene by Livingston County Coroner Phillip Grandshaw. Police believe alcohol may have been involved and the investigation continues.
State Police were assisted by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department, Nunda Police Department and Mt. Morris Fire and Ambulance. Anyone that may have information regarding this accident is asked to contact the New York State Police at 658-9480.
