Football official brutally attacked

TEST

LAKEVILLE — Pete McCabe is recovering at home this week after he was struck in the face by a helmet-wielding football player this weekend. McCabe was a official working an adult pick-up league at Edgerton Park Saturday when a player attacked him and fled. Police are still trying to find the suspect.

McCabe was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with broken bones and an “unattached nose.” He is expected to undergo facial reconstruction surgery.

Not a signed comment, but I'm sure Pete would appreciate seeing it.
