CONESUS, NY — Two have been arrested in connection to last month's burglary at Ricky Greene Memorial Park in Conesus.
According to a Livingston County Sheriff's report, Carrie L. Stymus, 34, of Livonia, and Michael A. Clemens, 28, of Webster were arrested after investigators the two had burglarized an historic cabin at the park, stealing numerous antiques and artifacts inside. Several of the stolen pieces have been recovered.
Both Stymus and Clemens were arraigned on the charge of Burglary in the Third Degree before Geneseo Town Justice Haskins and remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $2500 cash/$5000 bond. They are to reappear at a later date.
Sheriff John York credits ID Technician/Deputy Bryan Mann for processing the crime scene and developing important evidence that was ultimately instrumental in solving the crime.
