Two cars crash in front of fire department

On Saturday afternoon, October 17, the East Avon Fire Department and Avon EMS/ALS  responded to a two-car accident with entrapment in front of the East Avon fire station on West Henrietta Road. Firefighters used hydraulic rescue tools to extricate the driver, who the the sole occupant, from one of the involved vehicles. She was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. The driver and passenger of the second vehicle were not injured. The Livingston County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and were investigating the cause.

Emergency responders in East Avon didn't have far to travel for a two car collision Saturday afternoon. The East Avon Fire Department and Avon EMS/ALS  responded to a two-car accident with entrapment in front of the East Avon fire station on West Henrietta Road.

Firefighters used hydraulic rescue tools to extricate the driver, who the the sole occupant, from one of the involved vehicles. She was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. The driver and passenger of the second vehicle were not injured.

The Livingston County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and were investigating the cause.
