The Mount Morris girls' soccer team participated at the Breast Cancer Walk Oct. 4 at Frontier Field.

ROCHESTER — Members of the Mount Morris girls’ soccer team, along with head coach Heather Anzalone, participated at the annual Breast Cancer Walk Oct. 4 at Frontier Field.

Coach Anzalone had told her team prior to the event that she was going to the walk along with members of the Mount Morris Teachers Association.

“I was very impressed with my ladies,” said coach Anzalone.

“After I mentioned it to them that I was going, they came up with the idea to walk with me as a team. When all was said and done, I had 11 girls that were available to come. I was impressed that it was their idea to walk.”
