MOUNT MORRIS, NY — Three people from Allegany County were arrested Monday, Nov. 9 on felony drug charges. Deputy Thomas Dougherty stopped the vehicle that the three subjects were in on Route 408 in the Town of Mt. Morris for a vehicle and traffic law violation.
After investigation, Wesley C. Histed, 30, of Belfast, NY was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree (a class B felony.) Police found 21 bags of heroin. Histed was arraigned in the Town of Leicester Court and remanded to the Livingston County Jail on $5,000 bail.
William J. Marble, 35, of Scio, NY was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree and also arraigned in the Town of Leicester Court and remanded to the Livingston County Jail on $5000.00 bail. He was in possession of forty seven bags of heroin.
Niomi M. Mighells, age 25, of Angelica, NY was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. She possessed thirty two bags of heroin. She was also arraigned in the Town of Leicester Court and remanded to the Livingston County Jail on $5000 bail.
The three were travelling through Livingston County after purchasing the drugs in the City of Rochester. Â Assisting with the arrests were Deputy Matthew Orman, Deputy Stephanie Schroeder, and Inv. Brian Applin.
