AVON — Herbert J. Blaker died December 25, 2009 at age 67 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.Y.
Mr. Blaker was born on March 23, 1942 in Batavia, N.Y. the son of Robert and Ethelyn Blaker. He was predeceased by his loving companion Helen Whyte.
He is survived by his children, Robert (Benita) Blaker, Victoria (David) Rogers, Sheila Best, James (Rachel) Blaker; sister Barbara (Douglas) Taggart; 12 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life was held Wednesday December 30, 2009 at Noon at Joseph Gallipeau American Legion Post, Avon, N.Y. Private interment was held at East Avon Cemetery, Avon. Arrangements by the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., Avon.
