Club member Erwin Cohen of Orlando, Florida, came up with this clever way to repair curling seams on old wallpaper. He cut 3/16-in.-thick x 5/8-in.-wide strips of knot-free wood, covered them with matching wallpaper and then used 1-in. stainless steel brads to fasten the strips over the split seams. For a uniform appearance, Irwin recommends covering all of the seams, not just the split ones.
