
York's Eric Hann drains the second quarter three pointer as the Golden Knights tore up the nets Friday night going 10-of-16 from three-point range in their 64-45 victory over host Keshequa.
NUNDA — York forward Eric Hann is a solid post-player for the Golden Knights.
On Friday night, the 6-foot-4 senior proved he has a perimeter game as well.
Hann scored a game-high 24 points, including hitting three, 3-pointers as visiting York downed Keshequa 64-45 in Livingston Conference D-III action in Nunda.
Hann wasn’t the only player on the York side that was stroking the three as the Golden Knights shot a red-hot 10-of-16 from beyond the arc.
BJ Haskins and Dominic Chirico each hit two 3-pointers.
Keshequa actually took the 16-8 lead in this one as Sean Mattle and company got going early.
But York would take control of the game in the second period as they outscored the Indians 22-3 to grab a 30-19 halftime lead.
A 19-13 third period run stretched it to 49-32. York hit four trifectas in the second and four more in the third.
Hann also finished with 12 rebounds for the double-double.
Haskins added nine points, six steals, four rebounds and four assists while Chirico, James Culver and Jesse Galvin all had six points. Galvin also added five assists and four steals.
Mattle led Keshequa with 15 points, five rebounds, five steals and three blocked shots.
Ryan Forrester scored 11 points while Justin Coates had eight points and seven rebounds. Dakota James added six points and eight caroms while Tyler Bucci netted four points with six rebounds and three steals.
