
ALPINE, TX — Former Keshequa standout pitcher Jimmy Dale is off to a perfect start for the Big Bend Cowboys of the Continental League of professional baseball.
Dale, who threw a one-hitter with four strikeouts over seven innings in a 10-4 win over Coastal Kingfish last Saturday, is 4-0 on the season with an ERA at 3.68 for the 16-8 Cowboys, who play out of Alpine, TX. Dale had a no-hitter going through six innings.
On the season, Dale has tossed 36 innings allowing 37 hits and 15 earned runs. He has struck out 25 batters and walked 15.
Dale, a 6-foot-2, 215-pound right-hander, played his college baseball at both Finger Lakes Community College and Mankato State University in Minnesota.

Jimmy is a great ball player and a wonderful nephew. I have always wished him the best of his dreams. He is doing is dream and hopefully he will continue to do his dream and become the baseball player. We miss you.
