Bryan Whitney, age 36, died suddenly July 1, 2010 in Japan where he was living and teaching English.
Bryan is survived by his parents, Jack and Cathie (Roth) Whitney of Conway, S.C., formally of Avon, N.Y.; his sister, Jodi, brother-in-law, Steve and nephew, Kyle Walls of Cape Coral, Fla.; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call Monday, August 2 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 350 Genesee St., Avon, N.Y. where his memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 3 at 10 a.m. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery, Avon. Donations may be made to an animal shelter of your choice in his name.
