On the afternoon Saturday, Aug. 7, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Kenneth B. Keating Post 26 at 7305 East Main Street in Lima was filled to capacity with persons attending a ceremony honoring four of Lima’s outstanding citizens. The recipients were New York State Trooper Karl Bloom, ambulance volunteer Norm Caccamise, Boy Scout Zach Roberts, and teacher Christine Preston. The awards were made at the national, state and local levels.
