The Keshequa chess team has garnered two outstanding distinctions for its 2009-10 season. Sophomore Philip Wood has achieved First Team All Greater Rochester status — apparently the first time a Livingston County chess player has garnered this honor. Additionally, Keshequa’s chess coach, Irving Schoenacker, has been named All Greater Rochester Coach of the Year.
NUNDA, N.Y. — Carl K. Seager, 90, a World War II veteran, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Royal Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility in Titusville, Fla.
