An artists’ collaboration entitled, “Regeneration: A Show of Hands,” is coming to two Geneseo venues this month. The installation includes three dimensional artwork by Julia Stewart, storytelling by Leah Ruekberg and live music performed by Dan Fitzpatrick.

There will be an open house presentation of plans for expanding the Village of Geneseo’s Highland Park this Thursday, Feb. 25, at the park itself — in the depot building. The session will run from 4 to 6 p.m. and be conducted by Patrick A. Nicoletta of the MRB engineering group.

Save Geneseo’s Main Street
A short article entitled “save Main Street” appeared in a recent popular magazine. It recognized the unique small businesses trying to weather these difficult economic times. A retail consultant created the 3/50 Project that encourages people to spend a monthly total of $50 at three locally owned businesses (excluding Big Box stores).
