An artists’ collaboration entitled, “Regeneration: A Show of Hands,” is coming to two Geneseo venues this month. The installation includes three dimensional artwork by Julia Stewart, storytelling by Leah Ruekberg and live music performed by Dan Fitzpatrick.

A short article entitled “save Main Street” appeared in a recent popular magazine. It recognized the unique small businesses trying to weather these difficult economic times. A retail consultant created the 3/50 Project that encourages people to spend a monthly total of $50 at three locally owned businesses (excluding Big Box stores).

Commentary: Charity basketball a good game for a good cause
Last Wednesday, March 3, an estimated crowd of 500 people filled the Geneseo High School gymnasium bleachers to watch the Geneseo faculty take on a community team in basketball.
